1. Job Title: Qualified Social workers
2. Location: Dudley
3. Contract: Temp
4. Hybrid Arrangement: 3 days on site
5. DfE Requirement: 3 years permanent cumulative experience with an English Local Authority (including ASYE)
6. Rate: £41

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to families to help children and families thrive.
• Use Restorative Model of practice, family‑led decision‑making and Motivational Interviewing skills.
• Co‑ordinate support offered to families drawing on multidisciplinary expertise (Child Practitioners, Drug and Alcohol practitioners, Probation Officers, Domestic Abuse Workers, and Mental Health Practitioners).
• Deliver services through the Family Safeguarding model, including child protection plans, pre‑proceedings and care proceeding work.
• Work with families to develop meaningful and lasting change, improving capacity to manage complex parenting challenges and reduce risks within family networks and across the community.
• Participate in reflective group supervision with practitioners involved in supporting families.
• Collaborate with local partners and Family Hubs to provide early support where problems are easier to address.

Qualifications

• 3 years permanent cumulative experience with an English Local Authority (including ASYE).
• Experience in front line help and safeguarding practice.
• Knowledge of family safeguarding, child protection, and kinship planning.
• Skills in Motivational Interviewing and family‑led decision making.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
