Job Description:
Production Operator – Precast Concrete
Location: Newbridge, Edinburgh
Pay Rate: 13 per hour
Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday Early or Day Shift – 4am start
Your Role
- Operate machinery and equipment to produce high-quality concrete precast products.
- Prepare and maintain moulds in line with product specifications.
- Pour and finish concrete according to specified standards and procedures.
- Carry out basic quality checks and report any issues.
- Support with manually loading/unloading materials or operation of an overhead crane system to relocate heavier items.
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or a similar hands‑on role.
- Confidence using tools and machinery.
- Strong awareness of health & safety.
- Reliable, team‑focused attitude and good problem‑solving skills.
- Physical fitness as manual handling and physical movement is a huge part of the role.
