Job Description:

We are seeking a Dispenser with experience of working in abusy dispensary, which aims to provide an efficient and friendly service to allour patients. We require a pro-active, hardworking individual who can keep upwith the fast pace and responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be expected to answer calls in aprofessional manner, demonstrate excellent communication skills, be adept atproblem-solving, provide comprehensive assistance to customers, and effectivelyaddress any issues relating to prescriptions, medication availability, andgeneral pharmacy services. They will possess a calm and professional mannerwhen dealing with customers and colleagues. Prior experience in a pharmacysetting is desirable. Outstanding communication skills and a courteous,professional demeanour are essential for this position.

Main duties of the job

Daily duties will include working on the till, accurate dispensing, collaborate with GPs pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow, dealing with patient queries. Maintain inventory levels and perform stock management tasks, adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to pharmacy operations. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

About us

We have a busy and hardworking team of 6, including dispensers and technicians. We work in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as part of a close team within the larger team of Grey Gable Surgery.

Job responsibilities

As a dispenser you must be prepared to undertake otherdelegated duties considered appropriate to the post together with the necessarytraining to ensure that you have the necessary skills and competence requiredto fulfil the role.

Qualifications

  • Basic levels of GCSE
  • NQV2 in dispensary skills is desirable but not required
