Blazer’s Fuels Limited, a trading subsidiary of Newbridge Energy Limited, manufactures and supplies premium wood fuels certified to ENplus®, BSL, Woodsure and HETAS standards. We produce premium pellets and fuel logs from 100% virgin British wood residue, focusing on sustainable renewable energy through biomass combined heat and power.
Role
To operate an automated production line, move nationally recognised products around site with an FLT, ensuring timely customer supply, safe production, lowest cost, highest quality and KPI achievement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate an automated production line with conveying and robotic bag stacking systems
- Ensure customers receive high‑standard packaged products
- Collaborate with team members to maximise productivity and efficiency, suggesting improvements
- Problem‑solve and diagnose line faults
- Operate an FLT in line with the training programme, completing vehicle safety checks and cab sanitisation each shift
- Accurately complete required documentation
- Conduct and record product quality control measures
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
- Adhere to all health, safety and quality standards and company policies
- Complete other reasonable tasks or requests as required
Key Skills and Experience
- Valid FLT licence (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent housekeeping and quality standards
- Full clean driving licence
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and organise work area
- Capability to work independently, using own initiative and as part of a team
- Positive disposition, can‑do attitude, tenacity, assertiveness, resilience and determination to succeed
- Comfortable with various shift patterns and able to commit to additional hours on a required‑cover basis
