What You’ll Do

  • Support and encourage young people to reach their full potential
  • Create a warm, safe and tidy home environment that promotes wellbeing
  • Build trust whilst maintaining professional boundaries
  • Empower young people to develop skills such as cooking, travel, and self‑care
  • Support care planning: contribute to risk assessments, positive behaviour plans, and individual goals
  • Keep accurate, reflective records and complete effective shift handovers
  • Administer medication, manage petty cash responsibly and ensure safety checks are completed
  • Drive company vehicles to transport young people to school, appointments and activities
  • Work collaboratively with your team, attend meetings and training, and follow safeguarding procedures at all times
