Learning Support Assistant

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, Term Time Only)

Contract: Fixed Term from 01 September 2026 to 31 August 2027

Salary: Grade JG4 SCP 7-11 £26,403.00 – £28,142.00 per annum (Actual Salary £20,370.63 – £21,712.31 per annum)

Start Date: 1 September 2026

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to be part of a friendly, talented team dedicated to improving outcomes for children in a school with a friendly and supportive ethos.

We are looking for:

  • A proactive team player who shows initiative both in the classroom they work in and around the whole school site
  • Someone with experience of working with children in an educational setting
  • Someone who demonstrates a commitment to the school’s vision, aims and ethos, its community and outcomes for its pupils

Our School

We are a large, thriving academy situated at the heart of the vibrant, multicultural community of Easton and our motto is ‘Being different. Belonging together’. We welcome children and families of all faiths and those with none. We are pleased to have more than 30 languages spoken in the school and we welcome those who have recently arrived in the country. Our school is committed to working closely with the local community and has strong links with the neighbouring Easton Family Centre and our partner Lighthouse Schools Partnership.

The Trust

The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi‑Academy Trust which has experienced rapid growth since it started in 2016. There are currently 34 schools in the Trust. The Trust is cross‑phase and includes Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools. It is a mixed MAT and includes both non‑denominational and Church of England schools.
