About the role and school
We are seeking a PPA Teacher to join a large and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest from September. This PPA Teacher role involves delivering planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 to cover class teachers’ PPA time. The school is well-resourced with strong behaviour systems and supportive leadership. The PPA Teacher will play a key role in maintaining consistency and high-quality learning across the school. This PPA Teacher role is ideal for flexible practitioners who enjoy teaching across different year groups.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across year groups
- Maintain classroom behaviour and routines
- Support learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Follow school planning and schemes of work
- Ensure continuity of learning
- Work collaboratively with staff
Qualifications/Experience
- QTS required
- Flexible teaching approach
- Strong classroom management
- Enhanced DBS required
- Right to work in the UK
