About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive school community in Leicestershire. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet a range of special educational needs.
- Support pupils with diverse learning difficulties, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress effectively.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
- Use a range of strategies to manage behaviour positively and effectively.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with primary-aged children with SEN (in a specialist or mainstream setting).
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
