Year 4 Teacher – Kensington and Chelsea

A Year 4 primary teacher position starting September 2026, permanent contract within the London pay scale, with TLR available for the right candidate. The role is welcoming for newly qualified teachers and experienced Year 4/KS2 teachers. It requires Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Candidates may be completing their Primary PGCE.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons for a class of up to 30 Year 4 students.
• Implement the British Primary Curriculum and support pupils to reach their full potential.
• Work closely with teaching assistants to support classroom learning.
• Participate in the school’s induction programme and mentorship for ECTs.
• Contribute to the highly supportive learning environment with an Outstanding Ofsted rating.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Year 4/KS2 is desirable.
• Completion of a Primary PGCE is an advantage but not required.
