FM Conway is seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join the Water and Drainage Management team. The role involves working nights in Sittingbourne, Kent and protecting communities by keeping essential infrastructure running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of drainage services, including high‑pressure water jetting (HPWJ) to inspect, clean, and maintain drainage networks.
- Respond promptly to drainage issues and emergency callouts; tackle blockages, overflows, and other urgent problems to keep water flowing safely and efficiently.
- Support planned and reactive maintenance by clearing, cleaning, and repairing drainage systems as part of routine operations or urgent interventions.
- Accurately record and report all work carried out, identifying and flagging any additional issues that require follow‑up.
- Use the app‑based reporting system to update job progress, upload photos/videos, and ensure clear communication with the wider team.
Qualifications
• Hold a Class 2 licence and a valid Driver CPC.• Strong commitment to health and safety and ability to work as part of a team.• Experience in the drainage industry is preferred but not essential – full training can be provided for the right candidate.
