Job Overview
We at 3 Recruit Ltd are recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Birmingham.
Working Hours
Early starts between 01:00-05:00 am.
Shift lengths are between 8.00 – 14.00 hrs.
Runs will be up to 6 shifts per week, leading to a rota system with an aim of working 5 shifts one week followed by 6 shifts the next depending on availability and client requirements.
Shifts include regional distribution centre runs across the country with 1-4 drops & collections per run.
Work Conditions
Good working conditions and vehicles with minimal handball (handball defined as cages or pulling an electronic pallet truck) depending on which RDC you are delivering to.
Requirements
You will need a valid Class 1 Licence held for 2 years plus for insurance purposes, a Digital Tachograph Card, and a Driver CPC card.
Pay
We can pay you either as PAYE or Self‑Employed if you have a Limited Company and pass a Status Determination Statement questionnaire. Higher rates of pay are also available for weekends and bank holiday working.
