The Role
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that motivate and support all learners. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Contributing positively to the wider school community.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally Key Stage 2.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Be committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences.
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Have a genuine passion for helping children thrive both academically and personally.
