Responsibilities
- Provide tailored academic and personal support to learners in mainstream settings, including in‑class assistance, off‑campus activities, and personal care.
- Implement individual Support Plans and EHCPs in collaboration with course leaders and the PASC Team Leader, ensuring students receive guidance and encouragement to thrive.
- Deliver in‑class support across theory and practical subjects, including English and Maths.
- Assist with literacy, numeracy, note‑taking, and adapting learning materials.
- Support students outside the classroom, including safeguarding referrals and counselling access.
- Accompany learners on work experience placements and educational trips.
- Provide personal care where required.
- Act as a reader or scribe during examinations.
- Maintain accurate records including Support Plans, Action Plans, and EHCP documentation.
- Promote pastoral support and follow up on attendance and punctuality.
- Participate in enrichment activities, departmental meetings, and learner voice initiatives.
Qualifications
Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or above).
Experience supporting individuals with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to relate to diverse learners.

Enthusiastic, adaptable, and responsible with a proactive approach.
