Salary: Competitive annual salary + excellent staff benefits + share of tips
Hours: Full‑time, working on a flexible rota basis, 5 days per week across reasonable and fair working hours.
Qualifications
- A friendly, collaborative approach with a passion for working as part of a team.
- Prior experience at CDP level, or an experienced Commis Chef ready to take a step up.
- Comfortable and capable of handling busier service periods alongside a busy, hardworking team.
- An appreciation for tasty, fresh, high quality ingredients and a touch of creative flair.
- A good understanding of allergen and dietary needs.
- Enthusiastic about learning new techniques and growing within the culinary trade.
Responsibilities
- Supporting senior team members in keeping the kitchen running efficiently.
- Helping to prepare and present high quality dishes for lunch and evening guests.
- Sharing creative ideas to help shape and refresh our seasonal menus.
- Assisting with day‑to‑day stock management and working within kitchen budgets.
- Looking after the casual dining and bar menus to ensure excellent quality throughout.
- Guiding and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
- Preparing dishes safely and accurately to accommodate specific dietary requirements.
- Keeping a tidy, organised workstation in line with food safety and HACCP guidelines.
- Chatting through menu updates and collaborating closely with our front‑of‑house team.
