The Role

We are looking for a qualified engineer in Sunbury to join our Modernisation department as a Trainee Tester. The position offers full training to become an NVQ4 qualified Tester, with additional technical training provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pre‑tests on company installations and modernisations, compiling snag lists for engineers and trades as required.
• Adjust and test lifts onsite to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and lift regulations.
• Support completion of test sheets and other customer and client documentation.
• Apply technical knowledge of lift control systems and electrical requirements.
• Assist other departments as necessary.

Requirements

• NVQ3 in Lift Engineering.
• Experience working with lifts.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Flexible working hours.
