Job Summary

We are looking for a Trainee Planner to join Killik & Co in our Hampstead branch, to provide technical administrative support to the Wealth Planners while developing the relevant skills, knowledge and competencies required of a future Wealth Planner.

The successful postholder will be able to enrol on our internal Adviser Training programme, once they meet the required standards, and work towards becoming a qualified Wealth Planner.

Key Accountabilities

  • To provide administrative support to the team of Wealth and Financial Planners.
  • To support the Planners in their client work.
  • To build up technical knowledge related to financial planning, relevant products, client administration and reporting, our services and procedures.
  • To learn how to use the Firm’s internal systems.
  • To learn about the business and internal departments.
  • Build technical knowledge.

Candidate Profile

  • At least A-level qualified (or equivalent) is essential
  • Level 4 CII papers are advantageous
  • Will have a demonstrable interest in financial planning
  • Will have at least 12 months experience in a similar financial services environment
  • Will have prior experience in relationship management or providing excellent customer service
  • Will have an understanding of the fundamentals of regulated financial advice e.g. suitability documentation, compliance expectations
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • A proven self-starter with an interest in pursuing a career in Wealth Planning

Contractual Hours

9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

Hybrid Working

Onsite 5 days – Five days in the office gives the richest learning environment, constant exposure to client discussions, technical conversations, and the expertise around you.
