Window Cleaning Operative

About the Role

Specialist Window Cleaning (SWC), part of the OCS Group, is recruiting for a Window Cleaning Operative to join our passionate and driven team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out works scheduled by the supervisor or line manager in a timely, safe manner.
• Maintain awareness of equipment condition, ensure all equipment is in safe working order, checked regularly and serviced.
• Report any faults to supervisor/management.
• Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
• Follow client/company guidelines regarding the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards (e.g., blocked/locked fire doors).
• Report any customer complaints or compliments and take remedial action if possible; report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularities to the Line Manager/supervisor.

Qualifications and Criteria

• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in window cleaning, ideally at heights and on high buildings.
• Ability to work well on your own, be self-sufficient and motivated, while also being comfortable working as part of a team and following instruction.
• Professional attitude.
