Management Accountant | Belfast | £45,000 – £55,000 + Benefits
Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly successful Northern Ireland business as they look to add a Management Accountant to their growing finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, business partnering, and process improvement activities. It would particularly suit a newly qualified accountant looking to build on existing industry experience or an ambitious practice-trained professional seeking their first move into commerce.
The Role
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the finance department and support key financial activities.
- Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports, and performance analysis.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain financial controls, including reconciliations and VAT compliance.
- Support the annual audit process and engage with external stakeholders when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the development of the wider finance team.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
- Well-organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
