Head of Procurement

We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Head of Procurement based in south Down.

This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the COO, responsible for developing and delivering a global procurement strategy that drives supply security, cost competitiveness, supplier performance, sustainability, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the global procurement function and team
• Drive strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier partnerships
• Deliver sustainable cost savings and value creation initiatives
• Strengthen supplier performance, risk management, and business continuity
• Champion procurement governance, compliance, digitalisation, and ESG objectives
• Support operational excellence across a regulated manufacturing environment

About You

• Proven experience leading a procurement function within manufacturing or a similar industry
• Strong commercial negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience developing procurement strategy and leading transformation initiatives
• Strong financial, analytical, and leadership capabilities
