As a Port Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, assisting with the movement of goods, container unloading, site housekeeping, and general labouring duties.
Position Details
Role: Port Operative – Adhoc Work
Location: Duncrue, Belfast
Rate: £12.96 per hour
Overtime Rate: £15.96 per hour after 6pm and on weekends
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Duration: Temporary Ongoing (Shifts will be confirmed on a Weekly/ Daily Basis)

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of containers
- Moving goods safely around site
- Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties
- General housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Sweeping and maintaining work areas
- Working efficiently to meet operational deadlines
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Undertaking additional labouring duties as required
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or labouring environment
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting and physical work
- Flexible approach to work and duties
- Excellent attendance and timekeeping record
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks as required
Desirable Criteria
- CSR Card
- Manual Handling Certificate
