Are you a Protection & Control Design Engineer looking for a specialist role that offers full autonomy to oversee technical National Grid projects essential for the ongoing supply of energy across the UK within a dynamic company that is experiencing rapid growth?
This growing company provides front-end engineering services to a varied client base working on National Grid projects and is experiencing major growth since its establishment in 2021. The company is looking to expand its design team.
The Role
- Lead and carry out end-to-end project work on P&C projects
- Schematic, cable block and diagram design
- Prepare bill of materials and carry out cable sizing calculations
- Work within a tight-knit team, mentor junior team members and liaise with other departments
- Primarily office based with occasional client visitation and WFH
The Person
- Design Engineer or similar
- Protection & Control / P&C experience
- Commutable to Newcastle
