Full Time, Perm (Mon-Fri)

We are currently working in partnership with a leading, long-established business operating across the UK and Ireland, providing large-scale vehicle and asset remarketing services to both public and private sector clients. Operating at scale across multiple sites, the organisation continues to grow its vehicle division and is now seeking a Vehicle Appraiser.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, efficiency and strong customer engagement are central to success. The role will suit someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of vehicle condition assessment, who is confident working both independently and as part of a wider operational team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspecting vehicles prior to auction to determine condition and value
  • Conducting detailed vehicle assessments in line with internal processes and standards
  • Identifying and recording damage, repair requirements and overall vehicle condition
  • Liaising with corporate clients and internal stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Supporting the wider vehicle operations team with accurate reporting and documentation
  • Ensuring all inspections are completed efficiently and to required deadlines

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in vehicle inspection, body shop environment or automotive trade
  • Strong understanding of vehicle structure, condition assessment and repair processes
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, particularly when dealing with corporate clients
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to record and manage data effectively
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Reliable, hard-working and adaptable approach
  • Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 3 years

Desirable Experience

  • Additional experience in body shop, mechanical or vehicle damage assessment environments would be advantageous

Training & Development

Following successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, the successful candidate will receive full industry-specific training to support further development within the role.
