Salary: £43,000 – £48,000

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive engineering team in a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades
• Work closely with production teams to improve safety and performance across the site

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding and maintenance skills
• Relevant engineering qualifications
• Experience working in a fast‑paced production environment
• Understanding of continuous improvement and reliability practices

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with conveyors, three‑phase, sensors, PLC’s
• Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer in the UK
• Knowledge of continuous improvement
