General Recycling Operative – Sheffield (S20)

Location: Sheffield, S20Shift: Day shifts – 7:00am to 5:30pmPay Rate: £12.71 per hour

The Role

We are currently recruiting for General Recycling Operatives to join a busy and growing recycling facility based in Sheffield (S20). This is a hands‑on role working within a fast‑paced environment, helping to sort and process recyclable materials efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting recyclable materials on a conveyor line
• Separating waste streams (plastic, cardboard, metals, etc.)
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets

Requirements

• Ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to work well within a team
