Opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join an architectural consultancy in the centre of Birmingham. Working across a variety of project sectors to include education, healthcare, leisure, industrial and commercial, heritage and residential. The practice has a large amount of healthcare work and specialists in this area, therefore experience in healthcare would be desirable however not essential. You will join a medium‑size team of 30 working across a variety of projects, leading and managing the projects through all RIBA stages.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of projects from concept through to completion
- Liaise with clients to understand their business goals
- Work toward the latest building regulations and technical standards
- Manage planning applications and building regulations
- Solve any issues that may arise
- Work toward fixed budgets and time deadlines
- Assist on planning applications and appeals
- Visit sites for inspections
- Assist in business development
- Develop detailed Revit models and drawing packages
Requirements
- Relevant qualification within Architecture
- Strong design and technical skills
- Revit is essential
- UK based experience with a minimum of five years in practice
