Position Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for a new Business Development Officer to join our team – perfect for anyone looking to build their knowledge and begin a career in the charitable sector.
As a Business Development Officer, you will work closely with our Director of Business Development and Business Development Manager to engage in projects across our Tendering, Service Development and Social Value Teams.
Responsibilities
- Learn to work on all parts of the bid writing process within Tendering, including feasibility analysis, research, gathering input from local managers and writing quality submissions.
- Take a key role in developing our social value proposals and supporting the delivery of initiatives, which can include liaising with councils, community partners and holding activities & events.
- Support the development and delivery of Service Development and Social Value Teams projects.
Qualifications
- Excellent initiative and effective communication skills.
- Well‑organised, hard‑working and flexible to navigate multiple deadlines and a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong practical writing abilities, confidence with IT, research and problem‑solving.
