This Structural Consultancy is a specialist practice with high‑quality design and conservation projects across the UK. They are seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in heritage, restoration, or conservation work to join their growing team and work with high‑profile clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake structural assessments, surveys, and detailed design for heritage structures.
• Develop repair and conservation strategies respecting historic fabric.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Liaise with design teams, contractors, and conservation authorities.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng/MSc).
• Professional structural experience working on heritage or conservation projects.
• Strong understanding of traditional materials – masonry, timber, and stone.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
• Proficiency with structural design software and CAD.
• Chartered status will attract a higher salary offer.
