Subject Access Rights Officer (remote role)
Do you have a passion for data protection, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage detailed requests in a fastpaced environment?
We are looking for a Subject Access Rights Officer to join our well-established national Information Governance team and play a vital role in managing access to health and care records across the organisation.
As a Subject Access Rights Officer, you will be the key point of contact for all Subject Access and other access to records enquiries. You will ensure every request is handled promptly, accurately, and in full compliance with legislation such as the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, the Access to Health Records Act 1990, and other statutory requirements.
Using our privacy management system and DSAR portal, you will manage the full lifecycle of access requests, providing a professional, confidential and friendly service to internal and external stakeholders.
You will work as part of a collaborative team and provide cover for colleagues where needed.
This role is mostly remote working with travel to services when required meaning we can accept applications from candidates from anywhere in the UK.
This is a fixed-term opportunity for 12 months.
