This Floor Layer role offers higher earning potential with price work incentives. You’ll be working for a major property maintenance and repairs company in the Hertfordshire area, known for providing long‑term opportunities and a strong team environment.

We welcome CVs from individuals who have worked as a Carpenter and can install vinyl flooring or in similar construction‑related roles.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace vinyl flooring, safety flooring, and vinyl tiles within void and tenanted properties.
• Fit flooring in kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, bedrooms, hallways, lounges, and communal areas.
• Complete safety flooring installations, including cap and cove systems where required.
• Install flooring within care homes, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and staff.
• Fit flooring in communal hallways, stairwells, entrance lobbies, and shared residential areas.
• Work within occupied (tenanted) properties while maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing vinyl flooring, safety flooring, and vinyl tiles.
• Experience working within social housing, including both tenanted and void properties.
• Own van and tools.
