As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Water Hygiene Lead Plumber to join our Environment & Safety division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Water Hygiene Lead Plumber to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in water hygiene services, along with knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Clean and chlorination of tanks
- Chlorination of water systems
- TMV servicing including full servicing and fail‑safe testing
Qualifications
To be a successful Water Hygiene Lead Plumber, you should be able to demonstrate:
- The successful candidate will be required to hold a recognised NVQ/C&G plumbing qualification and have knowledge of Legionella Control (L8) and HSG274
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to follow set methods and procedures
- IT literacy with hand held devices
