About the Role

A strong opportunity for an experienced Children in Care Social Worker to join a supportive Scarborough-based team. You’ll manage a balanced caseload of 20-24, working with looked-after children to deliver stability, permanence and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a Children in Care caseload
• Complete statutory visits, care planning and reviews
• Work collaboratively with carers, families and partner agencies
• Maintain high-quality recording and timely interventions

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
• Minimum 3+ years permanent post-qualified experience (DfE compliant)
• Strong Children in Care / LAC experience
• Confident with court work and care planning
• Ability to manage a varied and busy caseload
