Job Description

As a Logistics Support Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient site operations and providing comprehensive logistical support. This includes managing full pass control, conducting internal audits, maintaining roll call for the site when required, facilitating site visitors and contractor inductions, overseeing scheduling and coordination of deliveries and site bookings, organizing visitor transport, taking ownership of invoice payments and raising Ariba requisitions, purchasing logistics items, supporting waste disposal services, and contributing to effective waste management solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Site Security Management: Oversee S2 updates and manage all passes.
  • Documentation and Vendor Coordination: Facilitate MSDS exchanges and acquire waste disposal vendor quotes.
  • Cost Optimization: Leverage Ariba and credit card cross‑referencing.
  • Site Accountability: Manage access and exit through the Daily Booking System.
  • Logistics and SAP Management: Own all SAP entries for incoming goods.
  • Invoicing and Vendor Liaison: Handle SAP entries, liaise with vendors, address invoice queries, amend requisitions.
  • Administrative Support: Manage stationary orders and catering requirements across departments.
  • Supplier Compliance: Ensure receipt of Certificates of Analysis (COA) and upload to internal system.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange and book DHL collections.
  • Compliance Verification: Maintain Known Consignee status by verifying driver authenticity.

Qualifications & Skills

  • GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Team player with ability to work independently under general supervision.
  • Computer literate with good phone manner and people skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in a security environment.
  • Basic DBS check (minimum) required.
  • Experience with dispatching materials and Known Consigner Status.
  • Strong open communication and relationship skills.
  • Equipment/Technical skills and ability to plan.
  • Results orientation and ability to make decisions.
  • Self‑motivated and collaborative.
