HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Waste Collection (Bristol Area)

Full-Time | Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our waste collection team in the Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for stable, long‑term employment with a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily waste and recycling collections across designated routes
• Use the HIAB hook and grab to safely and efficiently collect waste
• Ensure waste bags are collected safely and efficiently
• Complete vehicle safety checks and defect reports
• Maintain accurate collection records and paperwork
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Comply with all road transport regulations and company health & safety procedures
• Keep vehicles clean, safe, and roadworthy

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid or expired HIAB qualification
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Reliable, punctual, and customer‑focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
