Senior Health Care Assistant- Dermatology and Laser

Role Overview

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust Dermatology and Laser has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Health Care Assistant to join our outpatients team. This is a fixed term contract with a part‑time position of 15 hours per week, ideally working two 7.5‑hour days each week. The department is open Mon‑Fri, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and we see adults and children.

Key Responsibilities

• Support treatments for conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, hyperhidrosis, skin cancer, dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, lesions, birthmarks, hair removal, and more.
• Assist with minor operations, skin cancer clinics, general dermatology clinics, the Day Treatment Centre, and laser procedures.
• Provide patient support and assistance across the outpatient team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience working with patients in a secondary care setting.
• Willingness to learn new skills or build on existing ones.
• Interest in Dermatology and Laser is preferable.

Working Hours & Flexibility

This part‑time role requires 15 hours per week. We support flexible working and will consider requests in line with service needs.
