Job Details
This role is hybrid, involving home work, community visits with service users, and office duties. The successful candidate must be a car driver to provide face‑to‑face support to families where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with social workers and other team members to support vulnerable families.
- Deliver all aspects of parenting work designed to empower and assist parents.
- Facilitate and supervise family contact sessions, ensuring safety and positive interaction.
- Support and facilitate transport arrangements for children and families.
- Monitor and report on family progress, maintaining detailed records.
- Promote and uphold safeguarding standards at all times.
- Assist in creating care plans tailored to family needs.
- Offer emotional support and practical advice to families and children.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young people and their families.
- Full UK driving licence and must be able to drive a car.
- Enhanced DBS check.
- Can work independently and within a team.
- Temporary, full‑time position for an initial period of 3 months with a view to extension on a rolling basis.
- Pay rate £17.07 per hour.
