Our Schools Traded teams deliver services across 55 primary and 5 secondary schools in the Borough. Our workforce provides day‑to‑day support, making a positive impact on the lives of real people within the community and beyond. You will join a trusted, supportive and welcoming team dedicated to keeping our areas safe for students, staff and the public.
Responsibilities
- Keep St Helens children safe by patrolling school crossing areas.
- Manage traffic flow during school arrival and dismissal times, ensuring safe pedestrian crossings.
- Operate outdoors in all weather conditions, coordinating with drivers, parents and teachers.
- Promote road safety and raise awareness among local communities.
Qualifications
- No formal qualifications required.
- Good rapport with children and adults.
- Awareness of road safety principles.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to cover 5 hours per week during term time, mornings and afternoons.
