The job is in a fast paced environment, working as a team player as part of a team at all Teldoc sites. We are looking for 3 Receptionists to fill the role.
Responsibilities
- Become familiar with practice procedures and protocols, and comply with them
- Support the regular upkeep of both sites, adhering to and reinforcing health and safety across all sites
- Open and close sites
- Play a part in all reception and practice team activities, for example, meetings
- Be responsible for self‑development with support of the practice team
- Apply practice policies, standards and guidance
- Manage call handling and administrative duties in the reception area
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills for face‑to‑face and telephone interactions with patients, service providers and other health professionals
- Experience in dealing with the general public
- Positive demeanour, ability to stay calm and work under pressure, kind and empathetic approach
- Good PC literacy skills, using MS Office packages and NHS systems (training will be provided)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good knowledge of GDPR
- Experience with prioritising work effectively
- Ability to travel between Teldoc practices, including possible cover at Shifnal sites
Hours and Schedule
Hours of work will be between 7.45am and 6.30pm, fully flexible to include 1 Saturday per month (8.30–1 or 8.30–5 on a rota basis) on a 4‑week flexi rota, Monday to Friday.
