An award-winning interior design studio is looking for a talented Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join its growing Manchester team.

Working across high-end hospitality, hotel, F&B and lifestyle projects, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape memorable, sensory-led environments from concept through to completion. This is a design-focused role within a collaborative studio that values creativity, innovation and exceptional client experience.

You’ll work closely with senior designers and creative leadership on a diverse range of projects, from boutique hospitality venues through to large-scale hotel developments, taking ownership of design packages, client interaction and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver creative interior design concepts from briefing through to completion.
  • Produce high-quality presentations, mood boards, space planning and design documentation.
  • Lead elements of projects across concept, developed design, technical delivery and installation.
  • Create and specify FF&E schemes, finishes, bespoke furniture and material palettes.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout project delivery.
  • Attend client meetings, presentations, workshops and site visits.
  • Prepare detailed drawing packages, schedules and specifications.
  • Collaborate with visualisation teams to communicate design intent effectively.
  • Support project programmes, budgets and milestone deliverables.
  • Contribute to design research, trend analysis and material sourcing.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Assist with installation, snagging and project close-out activities.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships and contribute to a positive studio culture.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in Interior Design or a related discipline.
  • Several years’ experience working within a commercial interior design practice.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating hospitality, hotel, F&B or lifestyle projects.
  • Excellent design, concept development and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of FF&E specification, materials and finishes.
  • Experience producing technical drawing packages and project documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior designers is desirable.
  • Passion for design trends, emerging materials and experiential design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
