• Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)
• Pay Rate: £525–£550 per day (Umbrella PAYE)
Overview
Our client is delivering a major electricity grid upgrade programme across rural northern Scotland. Recognising the challenges in housing a growing workforce, the organisation has committed to developing a comprehensive housing and accommodation strategy.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Housing Manager to lead the implementation and evolution of this strategy. The role involves managing a small team of internal specialists and external consultants, while driving innovative housing solutions and ensuring alignment with wider organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic leadership of housing and accommodation initiatives
• Stakeholder engagement across government, industry, and housing organisations
• Lead commercial negotiations for housing solutions
• Manage and influence internal and external teams
• Oversee risk identification and mitigation
• Ensure transparent reporting and governance
Key Requirements
• Leadership experience in housing, urban planning, real estate, or similar
• Degree in relevant discipline
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Commercial and negotiation capability
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking
• Ability to drive programmes from concept to delivery
