UK Commercial Lead – Extremities | Orthopaedics

Our client is a specialist upper extremity orthopaedics business. Strong product portfolio, global backing, and a growth hire to build the commercial leadership and continue to drive the growth.

This role is focused around driving the strategic direction for the UK sales team, enabling the team to drive the commercial development within the reason and lead from the front, using your network to build stronger relationships in the market and position the product as the go-to within the niche.

You’ll lead a small team of BDMs, own the UK commercial direction, and be the person who takes the European business strategy and makes it work on the ground in the UK. You’ll work closely with the rest of the leadership team throughout the wider region.

The role:

  • Lead and develop a small/ growing team of BDMs across the UK
  • Own UK commercial strategy for the upper extremity portfolio
  • Translate European marketing and business strategy into UK execution
  • Build key account relationships and drive market development
  • Report into European leadership while operating with real autonomy in market

What they’re looking for:

  • Strong orthopaedic background – upper extremity experience ideal
  • Some people leadership experience, or a senior individual contributor ready to step up
  • Commercially sharp – able to think beyond the territory and shape how a business wins
  • Comfortable operating at pace with multiple internal relationships to build.
