We are looking for a confident, organised and commercially-minded New Business Agent to join our team.

This is a proactive sales and outreach role. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting existing and prospective clients, re-engaging previous enquiries and identifying new opportunities for Kruger Cowne’s roster across corporate speaking, appearances, brand partnerships and commercial bookings.

A significant part of the role will involve structured phone and email outreach, accurate database management and consistent follow-up. You will be expected to manage a high volume of client contact, build relationships over time and develop commercial opportunities from both warm and cold leads.

This is not a passive account management role. It is best suited to someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, enjoys business development and is motivated by converting conversations into opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact existing and prospective clients by phone and email to introduce, reintroduce and pitch Kruger Cowne’s talent and services.
  • Re-engage previous enquiries, past customers and dormant contacts within Kruger Cowne’s internal database.
  • Generate new business opportunities across corporate speaking, appearances, brand partnerships and commercial bookings.
  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline of prospects, follow-ups and live opportunities.
  • Research companies, events, industries and markets where Kruger Cowne talent may be relevant.
  • Prepare tailored pitches for corporate clients, event organisers, agencies, brands and institutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all outreach, conversations, contact information and opportunities in Kruger Cowne’s database.
  • Follow up consistently and professionally to move opportunities forward.
  • Work closely with the Directors and wider team to identify priority talent, sectors and client opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of proposals and client recommendations where required.
  • Act as a professional and trustworthy representative of the Kruger Cowne brand in all communications.

Qualities We’re Looking For

  • Confident and comfortable making regular outbound phone calls.
  • Strong written communication skills and able to write clear, professional and engaging emails.
  • Highly organised and able to manage a large volume of contacts and follow-ups.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and commercially driven.
  • Able to build rapport quickly and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Comfortable working to sales targets and motivated by commission.
  • Strong attention to detail when using CRM systems and databases.
  • Good research skills and an ability to identify relevant client opportunities.
  • Professional, mature and trustworthy in communication with clients, colleagues and talent.
  • A genuine interest in talent, business, events, media and the corporate speaking market.
