My client, a globally recognised law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as their new Risk & Compliance Officer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a law firm with offices across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia – working in an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance team, headed up by the London-based Risk & Compliance Partner.
As the successful Risk & Compliance Officer, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Conducting client due diligence, reviewing KYC documentation and undertaking AML/sanction searches
- Reviewing changes to clients and reviewing risk assessments
- Ensuring all matter information is kept accurate and up-to-date
- Providing internal training to the team and wider firm
- Setting up and amending information barriers
- Assisting with compliance reporting and the production of spreadsheets
- Assisting the Risk Lawyers with preparing internal audit files
To be considered for this new opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in Legal Risk & Compliance
- Have a completed law degree (LLB/GDL)
- Be able to commute into the London office at least three days per week
