As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the Kia Oval continues to operate to the highest standards, delivering a safe, efficient, and exceptional environment for players, staff, supporters, guests, and partners. Reporting to the Head of Facilities & Development, you will oversee venue infrastructure, planned maintenance programmes, supplier relationships, refurbishment projects, and the day-to-day management of the maintenance team.

The Impact You’ll Make

  • You will lead the delivery of planned preventative maintenance across the stadium, ensuring all facilities, systems, and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standard.
  • You will manage and develop the maintenance team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while ensuring resources are effectively planned and deployed.
  • You will oversee key supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring service delivery, compliance, sustainability, and value for money across a range of specialist areas.
  • You will play a key role in venue improvement projects, managing refurbishments and renovations to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to operations.
  • You will act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related matters, working closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver excellent service and maintain the Kia Oval’s reputation as a world-class venue.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in facilities management, building services, venue operations, or a related environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge across building maintenance, engineering services, and infrastructure management.
  • Experience leading site-based teams and managing contractor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of planned preventative maintenance programmes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing budgets, identifying efficiencies, and delivering value for money.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
