The Opportunity
Partnering with one of the UK’s leading Main Contractors, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technical Manager to join their London office. This role is dedicated to delivering high-profile, technically complex MEP projects across a diverse range of sectors.
With a full order book secured for the next two years and a robust, growing pipeline, this business offers exceptional stability. You will work closely with specialist sub-contractors to drive high-quality, value-engineered projects that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
As the Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving design and technical excellence. Your core focus will include:
- Managing and refining contractors’ proposals.
- Producing detailed, project-specific scope of works.
- Reviewing and interrogating Electrical designs across all assigned projects.
- Collaborating with relevant teams to produce comprehensive design programmes.
- Championing continuous improvement to elevate the technical quality and output of both internal teams and external partners.
The Candidate
- A proven background and extensive experience in Electrical Design within Building Services.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to lead and elevate design standards.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively manage relationships with internal teams, clients, and specialist sub-contractors.
