Underwriting Performance Manager

We’re partnering with a Lloyd’s specialty insurer to recruit an Underwriting Performance Manager into a high-profile governance and oversight function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to lead underwriting oversight activities, assurance reviews, and governance processes across an international underwriting platform, working closely with senior underwriting leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and enhance the Underwriting Oversight Framework
• Manage and deliver underwriting assurance reviews, including deep dives, attestations, and data reviews
• Identify themes, trends, and control weaknesses to drive continuous improvement
• Produce oversight reports and present findings to senior stakeholders
• Chair underwriting governance forums and oversee breach management process
• Collaborate with underwriting, risk, audit, and operational teams across the busine
• Manage and develop an Oversight Analyst

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of underwriting operations and Lloyd’s/London Market
• Experience within underwriting oversight, governance, risk, controls, audit, or underwriting management
• Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive improvements across underwriting processes
