The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner / HR Manager to join our organisation on an initial 6-month contract, with an excellent opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
This is a hands-on, standalone-style role where you will take ownership of HR operations for a growing organisation of approximately 80 employees. You will play a key role in shaping and supporting the people agenda during an exciting phase of development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all day-to-day HR operations
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and line managers
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, and organisational development
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
- Drive HR policies, processes, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR governance
- Contribute to culture, engagement, and change initiatives
About You
We are looking for a strong HR generalist who is proactive, commercially aware, and confident operating in a standalone or lean HR environment.
You will have:
- Proven experience at Senior HRBP or HR Manager level
- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent)
- Strong operational HR expertise across the full employee lifecycle
- Experience within engineering or technical organisations (preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to prioritise effectively
