HR Manager

Wednesbury

Full Time, 40 hours per week

12 Month Contract

£45,000 – £50,000

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a growing business?

We are recruiting for an HR Manager to take ownership of the HR function, providing both strategic and operational support across the organisation. This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with managers and stakeholders, driving employee engagement, supporting business growth and ensuring HR best practice is embedded throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the HR function, supporting managers and employees across all areas of HR
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management and employment legislation
  • Support recruitment activities, ensuring the attraction and retention of high-quality talent
  • Assist with payroll processes and employee benefits administration
  • Monitor and report on HR KPIs, providing insights to support business decision-making
  • Design and deliver management development and HR training programmes
  • Support organisational change, business improvement initiatives and company growth plans
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all departments
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies and HR best practice
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture

About You

  • Previous experience in a HR Manager position
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Strong HR generalist background with employee relations experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience supporting organisational growth and change initiatives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Coaching, influencing and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
