The role is heavily pre‑construction focused, making it ideal for a cost professional with strong early experience in M&E cost planning and pre‑con cost advice who is looking to specialise in the data centre sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with senior cost managers, design teams and clients to ensure cost certainty in pre‑con
  • Supporting value engineering and cost optimisation during early design stages
  • Assisting with tender documentation, procurement support and tender analysis (depending on experience)

About You

  • 1–4 years’ experience in M&E cost management / quantity surveying
  • Pre‑construction experience is essential, with demonstrable involvement in M&E cost planning

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a consultancy environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Building Services, or similar
  • Working towards RICS or equivalent is advantageous but not essential

What’s on Offer

  • Opportunity to work on high-profile data centre projects across the UK and Europe
  • Strong exposure to pre‑construction and cost planning work
  • Clear progression within a growing cost consultancy
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
