Interim Commercial Legal Counsel (3–6 PQE) – London (2-3 months)

We’re supporting a global petrochemical business on an urgent interim requirement within its Legal team, providing broad commercial support across multiple business functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded lawyer looking to step into a fast-paced, international environment on a short-term basis.

The Role

You will partner with key stakeholders across:

• Sales
• Procurement
• Marketing
• Finance
• Supply Chain

Delivering practical, business-focused legal support on a wide range of day-to-day commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, including:
• Distribution agreements
• Supplier / procurement contracts
• Marketing and promotional agreements
• Logistics and supply chain arrangements
• Supporting multiple internal stakeholders across functions and jurisdictions
• Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice in a fast-moving environment

About You

• Qualified lawyer with 3–6 years’ PQE
• Strong background in commercial contracts (in-house or private practice)
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
• Confident, pragmatic, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Exposure to sectors such as FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or energy is beneficial but not essential
