Hybrid Locum – Conveyancer or Property Solicitor

An established and growing law firm in Hampshire is looking to engage an experienced Hybrid Locum Residential Conveyancers (Full time or Part time) to provide short to medium-term support to a busy team.

The position offers flexibility around working arrangements, with a mix of home and office-based working available.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, with minimal supervision.

The role is ideally suited to a locum who is comfortable working in a hybrid capacity, attending the office as required while also working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Handling transactions including:
• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages/Tranfers of equity
• Auction Work
• Progressing files efficiently from instruction through to completion
• Maintaining clear communication with clients and the wider team
• Working in line with established processes and compliance standards

Experience Required

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer (or equivalent experience)
• Proven ability to manage a full residential caseload independently
• Experience working within a busy conveyancing environment
• Confident working with case management systems and hybrid working setups
• Able to integrate quickly into an existing team with minimal onboarding

Working Arrangements

• Hybrid working model (home and Hampshire-based office)
• Full-time or Part time considered, though some flexibility may be considered
• Ongoing locum assignment with potential to extend

• Competitive hourly rates, dependent on experience
• Aligned with current market locum conveyancing rates
